George H.T. Dudley is a founding member of Dudley Newman Feuerzeig LLP and served as Managing Partner of the predecessor firm, Dudley, Topper and Feuerzeig, LLP, from 1978 until 2003. His experience is in the fields of Banking and Finance, Corporate Law, Real Property Law and Employment Law (for Management.)
During his career, Mr. Dudley has distinguished himself among his peers and within the legal community. He is an elected Life Member of the American Law Institute and serves as an Emeritus Member of its Council. He served as an Adviser on the Restatement of the Law, Third, Property (Mortgages) for the American Law Institute. Mr. Dudley also is an elected Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
In the U.S. Virgin islands and elsewhere in the Caribbean, he has had the opportunity to represent a broad spectrum of corporations and individuals in complex banking, corporate and real estate matters.
Within the banking world, Mr. Dudley has represented a veritable Who’s Who of institutions in a wide range of lending and regulatory matters. His clients have included, among others:

Mr. Dudley has also provided a variety of services to a number of mortgage lenders.
Within the hospitality industry, Mr. Dudley has represented Marriott, Rosewood, Starwood and Wyndham. He represents the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the national association for the timeshare development industry.
Within the Territory, Mr. Dudley is frequently engaged to assist with corporate acquisitions and mergers, real estate development, and matters involving the Government of the Virgin Islands and the V.I. Legislature. He has provided innovative solutions to myriad clients involving a wide variety of issues, including, when necessary, the drafting of legislation or regulations to address specific issues. One of his earliest clients, IBM Corporation, which first engaged him as its counsel in 1978, and remains a client to this day.
He ably represents the cruise ship industry, advising Carnival Corporation and Royal Caribbean and its many cruise line brands. He also provided skilled counsel to Hess Corporation, Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. and their jointly owned subsidiary, HOVENSA, LLC, until its sale in 2015.
Committed to giving back to the community, Mr. Dudley provides pro bono legal advice to a number of local organizations. In the past, he served as Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of the Virgin Islands. As a Trustee of the University of the Virgin Islands, he also served as a member of the UVI Board’s Executive Committee and as Chair of its Finance Committee. Currently, Mr. Dudley serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands. He advises We Grow Food, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of local farming.
