Alisha Udhwani serves as an Associate at Dudley Newman Feuerzeig LLP, where she practices with the firm’s litigation and transactional divisions. Her professional focus encompasses defense in personal injury cases, commercial and employment litigation, residential and commercial real estate transactions, business formation, and probate matters.

Ms. Udhwani’s upbringing on St. Croix began at the age of three, and she remains deeply rooted in the community. She graduated from Good Hope School and earned a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Political Science from Agnes Scott College. Ms. Udhwani furthered her education at Washburn University School of Law, where she distinguished herself as a student attorney at the immigration and family law clinic, earning the Justice Raymond Spring Award for her dedication to providing legal services to clients in need.

Her legal career began upon her return to St. Croix with clerkships under Judge Denise Hinds-Roach and Magistrate Judge Miguel A. Camacho, followed by a brief tenure as an Assistant Attorney General within the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division. She then gained valuable experience as an Associate at an insurance defense firm.

In addition to her professional roles, she currently holds the position of Trustee at the Good Hope Country Day School and serves as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Indigent Appointments, which formed the Office of Conflict Counsel for the U.S. Virgin Islands.  In 2022, Ms. Udhwani served as President of the Virgin Islands Bar Association and co-chaired the Virgin Islands Bar Association’s Wellness Committee in 2023, playing a pivotal role in establishing a partnership with the New York State Bar Association to enhance wellness resources for members of the Virgin Islands Bar Association. She was honored with the Virgin Islands Bar Association’s President’s Award in both 2020 and 2023 for her notable contributions. Ms. Udhwani is also a member National Conference of Bar Presidents (NCBP) and was a Diversity Scholar for the NCBP in 2020. Furthermore, Ms. Udhwani is actively involved with the Caribbean Community Theatre, where she has performed in prominent musical productions such as Into the Woods and Guys and Dolls.
